What shall we do?

Seeing as none of us has posted here for two years I was wondering if we should continue this blog? I know we're all busy with school and have moved on to other places.

We could keep it up for memories.

Comic Page 1

So, here's page one. I figure I'll just update them here when I finish them, then if you guys have any crit, I can fix them up before I post them anywhere else!

Um, so, words on this. I AM SO LAZY, AHAH. Yeah, just pretend those black things are, like, a mix of aliens and humans. I tried to make it obvious some weren't human? Oh, and one of the speech bubbles says "ze", 'cause that's the way to refer to, um, either someone who is both or neither gender, I forget. Either is applicable.

FINALLY A PAGE IS DONE. *tears of relief*

Quest Comic In Progress

Okay, so this is an in-progress of what I'm sort of calling Quest. It's a four-part prologue to this huge thing I may never actually do. Anyway, there's something from each part up.

At the top is the first panel of part one, which deals with a doctor in a sort of alien peace corps in the 25th century. The dome is a forcefield, inside is a hospital. I really like how stressed his bit feels, and I think it also gives a good sense of his gentle nature. I'm probably going to make the horizon clearer.

Next is the top of page one of the last part, which deals with a forklift operator in 1996, Marvelverse. Not 616, though. Tentatively, she lives in the universe where Natasha Stark marries Cap. The last background is only partly finished. The whole first two pages are this big monotone, which is the first impression people tend to get of her. On the last page, it's shown that she's sharper than she looks.

In the last row, the first two panels are from the third part, which deals with a sabatour living in China in 1899. It's sort of an AU of the Boxer Rebellion, where England was much more aggressive about collonialism and went to war to occupy China. She basically goes around blowing up military installations, until the leader of her cell tricks her into blowing up a civilian target. She's in jail for breaking his shoulder. I'm pretty happy with her story, except she's so stressed for her whole bit, there's no sense of her actual character. She's really a very happy-go-lucky, cheerful, friendly girl, which I hope is apparent in her headshots.

The next panel is from the second part, with this alien ex-cop who was drummed out for arresting a diplomat for murder. She's on this crummy space station at the start. She's pretty much always frowning. Like, constantly. She's a really prickly person, but she's very honorable. She always does the right thing, or tries to, anyway.

And then is a few headshots of girl number 3.

White Collar

These are the main characters from the show I keep yapping about. From the left, it's FBI guy's wife, FBI guy, then the convict. I sort of was inspired by a promo shot for the show, which is set up kind of like this with the hancuffs. It struck me as an inconvenient way to keep track of a prisoner.

This is still early stages, there's some stuff I need to fix up as I finish shading. You can see where I've already started on the skin. Lemme know what you think, maybe.

So, this is an original character I've had kicking around in my head for awhile. Since she travels through dimensions, she really doesn't wear this outfit, but it's something she would wear on early 21st century Earth. If she wasn't in disguise. Which she often is.

Hey guys here's a WIP of a piece Im working on for the Illustration drawing test, a view of the park seen from my bedroom, 2nd floor window. I'm aware of the problem with the horizontal lines, what I need help with is where to take the piece. The outdoors is just in rough stages because it got dark as I got to that part. Oh also mind the overexposed part in the top right of the image, the scanner hates me.

Anyways thanks for any help.

it's been a while ...

well it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. Its also my first time to post content on here.

So let me create a little image here. summer 2009. if I'm not working or with the gf I'm at home alone bored out of my face. I suddenly realize i have 300+ episodes of dragonball, Z and GT. So as i slowly plow through all these episodes i can't help but get slightly inspired by akira toriyama interesting (although still animé) style. so i decided to start sketching characters from my old comic WolfBlitZ which ill getinto later on because i plan or starting the series up again. but I digress. so here is the first of many character updates. His name is Kin'Djinn and hes WolfBlitZ' main antagonist (or protagonist depending on how you interpret the story). i realized after his head was on that his body is too too small. but ohwells. hope you guys enjoy it. and ill get into more details later.
